I found a reference....it looks like it is 64 characters.
This became a problem because of the conversion macro I was using. Although
the comments suggest you set the field length to 64, the macro defaults to
19.
Anyone out there know how to program in VB within MS ACCESS?
The macro needs a little help in converting invalid field names to something
that will work. For now I did it by hand in the resulting text file, but it
doesn't seem like it should be that hard to program...however, I haven't
really looked at the code.
