Had this happen to me just the other day. :(
There was something rattling inside the mouse so I took it apart, screwed it
up and then tried to fix it again. I could not get going too good after
that so I plugged a trusty Logitech -9F in and everything works fine.
I never found out exactly what it was but the loose part was what looked
like a light sheild for the horizontal sensor.
The mouse was cheep and there was far too much time into fixing it. I paid
a couple bucks for years ago but it was a good distraction for a few
minutes.
Chuck it and buy a new one.
