I had that cd-rom problem before. The redhat thing says to run "depmod -ae"
as root and it should resolve it.
Check out other gotchas here ;)

Good news guys, I got Red Hat working properly(Kind of, when I go to mount
the cdrom, it says "/mnt/cdrom is not a valid block device" What does that
mean?:??) finally.
I also got xdosemu working, and according to the doc's on it, it ports well.

All I need now, is a male to male serial adapter. (25 pin to 9 pin) If
anyone has on of these, please bing it to apu friday. I will have my robot
there to test this. If it works, I'd like to set it up where I can log in
from any linux box and control the robot. I plan to have it loading cdroms,
so if I ever need anything I forgot, I just log in, and load the cd, and get

the files I need. (If this isn't possible, please let me know)

Thanks,

Adam
