Sounds right to me.. give or take (is a mbit 1000 or 1024 bits? I can never
remember)

Here copying about 6 gigs of stuff recently, I actually got around
60mbit/sec, that's from our server to my computer which are both 100mbit.
The network consists of about 8 10mbit and 4 100 mbit nodes along with dsl
going on about 10 of the machines, and about 100 feet of "el cheap-o" cat-5
cable between me and the server. So I don't know what difference in overhead
you would have with a simple network with only two 100mbit nodes and better
quality connections.. although I would be interested to find out...
