It is an obsolescent connector, an "AUI" port IIRC. As long as the RJ-45
is working, you can ignore it. If the RJ-45 isn't working, look for a set
of jumpers on the card not used for IRQ, I/O or memory address. Most of
my ISA NICs have RJ-45, AUI and BNC connectors on them. While I've seen
10base2 cables and connectors, I've never seen the cable (10base5?) that
goes with AUI ports unless the terminals at the UAF VAX node used them.
(And back then I just cared about not missing the Empire update.)
