Subject: Debain Install

I tried installing Debian again on that funnylooking 486 I had. I got as
far as installing packages...it seemed to install Gnome, then it asked
for Disk 1. I fed it D1, and I got the following, alot.
hdc: cdrom_decode_ststus: status=0x51 {Drive Ready SeekCompleate Error}
hdc: cdrom_decode_status: error=0x30
hdc: ATAPI restet compleate
#Does the above 3-4 times then says below.
end_request: I/O error, dev 16:00 (hdc), sector 2956
Could this be a bad CD?
