I'm assuming this is in Anchorage? Anyone want to fly me down (I'm in
Fairbanks)? I use MySQL quite a bit, and would feel comfortable giving a
- Compile/configure
- Set up users
- Create Tables
- Insert/Edit/Select data
- Simple joins (although I could do some pretty hairy ones too)
- Data backup (via cron)
- Connecting and operating on the database via Perl
- Other stuff?
But again, I'd need (air) transporation, as I don't want to be gone from
school for too long. A weekend presentation would be perfect. But, it's up
to y'all. If you *do* decide to go this route, I'd would like plenty of lead
time to prepare, asI'd want to make it worth your while.
Let me know. And let me know more specifically what kind of information you
would want presented.
