[aklug] Software Defined Networking

Mike,

have you since looked at the Software Defined arena?  If your thoughts  
haven't changed much, what additional things would push into using  
some sort of SDN solution.

Currently I'm playing with:

ECOMP
mininet - for test scenarios
Various "pox" controllers
ONOS
OpenDaylight

Really except for ECOMP, the rest are only components or tools.

It seems like there still needs to be a lot of implementation around  
some of the currently defined concepts.

ECOMP seems to dig into that.
