[aklug] Opinions? Refurbished small business tower server

Hi list. I'm fishing for opinions, 2nd opinions, or suggestions: I want
to buy a server, with the idea of rebuilding our main office server onto
it. The old server setup/configuration was not very sensibly designed,
so I want to rebuild everything onto the new server, and then probably
rebuild the old server and keep it around as a warm swap.

My idea was to go with a refurbished server, ideally for somewhere
around $800 to $1200, including in that price a really good extended
warranty (say 3 years or 5 years). I wanted at least hardware raid 1,
and two eth ports (one for fail protection). Right now I was looking at
something like this from servermonkey (does not include the hard drives):

(I really wish I could get some kind "open" system, like IBM Power, but
I can't seem to find anything under $3500.)
