[aklug] OT non-x86 (was: Regarding PPC / Power Architecture)

I love the old CPU machines and have a hard time not picking them up
when I have the chance. Then I have to scrounge around to find workable
RAM for them, NICs that will work, etc.

I've got an Apple molar (eMac) and two IBM sandalfoot boxes, with some
other IBM PowerPC 604 workstations of similar vintage. The Sandalfoots
are PrEP boxes running PPC 601's. Interesting to work with. They've
been idle for quite a few years - maybe time to see if I can get a
modern kernel to work. (Doubt it.)

I have an old Alpha 21164PC 400, an HP Visualize C160, and even picked
up a SPARCstation so I could relive the late 80's when a SPARCstation
was pretty awesome for playing Empire, instead of using the VAX
terminals at UAF.

These will all boot, and all of them run Debian.
