[aklug] Regarding PPC / Power Architecture

Hello list. Ever since finding about all this treacherous computing
stuff from Intel / AMD, I've been poking around the Internet trying to
learn about the different architectures available. I was wondering... is
anything in the Power family accessible to the consumer market? The
OpenPower stuff from IBM looks interesting, but everything on their Web
site are server units at $7000+.
