[aklug] flatbed scanner recommendations

I need to buy a new flatbed scanner. I'm blind and I'll use it entirely
for OCR purposes. I am hoping someone can give me some tips on good
brands and how much I should expect to pay. Do I need a $400 scanner or
a $200 one?
