Well,

After upgrading my phone so I now have a slightly newer android and kernel (from 2.1 android os with 2.6.29 kernel up to 2.2 android os with 2.6.34 kernel and ext3 support) I just put the finishing touches on my phone linux, which is fully integrated with android. So it is not running as an emulator, nor as a virtual box, but rather using the android kernel (which is linux) and running alongside android.
This gives me much greater flexibility, as I can control all the system processes, and have real access to the actual hardware for things like networking, etc.
I put in a screen shot. Still using JWM, as it is so lightweight I can actually do something with the phone. Also using Debian Squeeze, a little old, but very rock solid on the arm architecture for my older arm7 phone.
No one else to share it with, so I will bore you guys with it.
