[aklug] Using computers with style and sound

Just a simple post promoting an amazing series of keyboards. I currently
use a K65 and K90 from Corsair. If you care about backlighting the K95 has
an impressive per-key backlight that I have yet to monkey with. All of
which are Cherry MX Red mechanical keys.

I just got in a K65 for my office. It reminds me SOO MUCH of my old happy
hacker, which I still have but it needs a lot of repair and has keys in
juuuuust the wrong places for me nowadays. The K65 follows through with
very sane key arrangement that is pretty universal and a small form factor
and has a removable cable.. which is VERY convenient if you plan on having
it last while traveling around with it.

The oddest thing about this board is the textured space bar... and really
digging it. If it had a removable wristpad it'd be the bees complete
knees. But that's why I have the K90.

Their K70 series doesn't include the macro area of the keyboard where the
K90 series does. I'm very tempted to get a fresh K70 and sell my K90 since
I never use them.

Now.. the K65 is the perfect width to sit on top of my laptop while it's
docked.. nice and out of the way if I need it to be. This brings me back
to my own silly desire to some day have mechanical keys in an ergonomic
laptop. :) It'd fit very well.

Clickity Clackity Click,

Shane
