Ah, good point, Mike!

Other than this little landmine, I've been using these two NTFS drives
exclusively from Ubuntu from the past two years, and have had no
problems at all. There's probably some overhead that could be avoided
by using a more-native-to-Linux filesystem, but that's only a gut
feeling not backed up by any numbers.
