on this list to provide better support on this than I would. That said, I
disagree on the "more reliable" statement. As data density increased,
reliability has decreased. The SCSI/SAS world has done a decent job of
maintaining parity, but the IDE/SATA world has not. I would bet that the
companies producing the drives agree since the average length of the
warranty has decreased over the last ten years. Not stayed the same or
increased, but decreased.
