 Isn't brew kind of a more advanced alternative to macports?

 FYI: I pretty much settled on the ogg2mp3 perl script that
 Christopher turned us on to. It uses lame as well as ogginfo and
 ogg123 (the latter two from the ogg-vorbis port).
