For some reason, when running Bochs, top says Bochs is utilizing 100% of
the CPU, even if you have only given it a few MHz of processor speed to
utilize. I think this has something to do with the way that Bochs waits
for user input.
I recompiled Bochs with the --enable-idle-hack switch, which is supposed
to deal with this issue. Tops now displays only 20% CPU utilization,
though it goes back up when I do anything intensive in the guest OS.
I think I'm going to join the developers list and ask them more about this.
