[aklug] Windows applications making GRUB 2 unbootable?

Fielder was attempting to help someone (Rod) at FriLinux last night and
I don't think they were having much luck. I thought I overheard a
complaint about Windows messing w/ Grub somehow. Rod's box, if I
remember correctly, is an HP laptop.

I tripped over this off Slashdot a few minutes ago and thought it
sounded like it might be applicable.
