Chris, do you mean better for the developer? That may be true. The
terms are less restrictive, and put choice ('how invasive do I want
this app to be in my life?') in the hands of the user. iOS probably
never will allow non-Market app sources.
But if you mean actually better for the end user: as a recent Android
'convert', I have to say the Market overall leaves me filled with meh
compared to the iOS app store.
OTOH, I do really like the Vlingo voice command app. The Android OS
allows integration that I doubt you'll see in iOS, unless directly
from Apple.
