The dual core Nano processors don't seem that bad on power to me,
depending on what you're doing.

>From what I've read, a single core 1.6GHz Intel Nano has roughly 1/2 the
equivalent processing power of a 1.6GHz Pentium4-M. The dual core,
roughly equal. For what I do at work and 98% of the people in my office
(at least while they're at work) - this should be plenty. Access some
websites, handle their email, type up a few documents. A lot of people
are fine living on "The Cloud".

Not everyone out there is a gamer or is trying to compile the latest
kernel. The laptop I'm using right now is a P4-M 1.6GHz w/ 2GB of ram.
It will do everything I need at work. Plus - I can watch an occasion
DVD, I can watch the occasional movie from Hulu @ 720p (now that I have
2GB of ram) - even over my Clearwire connection. Wasn't that long ago
this computer retailed for some $3500+ and was billed a "desktop
replacement".

I've been looking at www.zotacusa.com. Netbooks and Nettops that can be
bought sans a Microsoft tax.
