Clearwire's main office is on Denali, between 36th & Benson. Strip mall
that backs to WalMart.

If she doesn't have cable, I think her options are ACS DSL or 3G from
ACS or AT&T.

I don't think AT&T's WiMax is available there yet. I live off Wisconsin
just South of NL and it isn't available there yet. Supposedly they'll
call me when it's available.

I use Clearwire at home and I haven't had the issues you're speaking of,
but I'm not home during the day. Maybe there are daytime issues I'm not
aware of. Maybe there's a problem with your modem.

Clearwire doesn't advertise service with speeds that low. 768K, 1.5M, or
2.0M down, all by 256K up. If you're only getting 3x.xK, I'd say there's
a problem.

I've been using it for 3+ years and the only issue I've have was a bad
ethernet jack on the modem. I broke it.
