Fellow list members,

I am in the process of starting up a new web site at
linuxprogrammingforums.com, and I would like to invite you all to come
take a look. The new site is meant to provide forum resources in a wide
variety of language areas, such as C-style programming, assembly
programming, shell scripting, and database programming, as well as
specialty subjects such as kernel development and embedding systems.

linuxprogrammingforums.com

The site is brand new and you are the first group I am notifying of its
existence. Since I have come to know you guys fairly well, I wanted to
give you the opportunity to be the first persons to post to the site as
well as to be the first persons to provide suggestions or criticisms
that could impact the future direction and organization of the site.

If you check it out and like my idea, you can support the new forums in
one or both of the following ways:

1. Register for an account and answer programming questions in your area
of expertise. Most likely site activity will be pretty slow at first,
but if you check in about once a week or so, we should start to see new
users trickling in fairly soon. Also, post any suggestions you might
have about the site in the "site feedback" forum.

2. Post a link to the site on your personal blog or web page, in order
to help attract new users.
