I don't know much about encfs... sounds good, but my only concern: if
the entire filesystem is encrypted, does that mean minor adjustments to
a few files will drastically alter the whole file system? That would be
a problem because then there would be a ton of data to transfer each
day, which would really up the bandwidth usage.

I seems to say on the site I googled that encfs works on the files
rather than the entire device, which I suppose answers my question.(Or
does it?)
