Thank you all for the help on this. If and when we actually do get one I am
looking forward to working on it.
At this point I have heard we are not supporting them, so it is now a moot
point.

The OS is called Android. The apps are heavily Google-biased.

I am a giddy new HTC Hero (GCI) owner, typing this now on my Dell Mini
which is tethered to my wireless connection. Sweet!

I hate Outlook, but you can do this one straightforward way:
1. Export the Outlook calendar to a Google calendar.
2. Sync the Android phone to the Google calendar.

Now do a couple additional steps:
3. Delete the original Outlook calendar.
4. Configure Outlook to use the Google version of the calendar.

This gets incredibly messy if an Exchange server is involved.
