The consensus on the SUSE lists seems to have always been that Cinelerra
is bloated, crash prone and a really ugly interface. I tried using it
way back in the day, but was always underwhelmed.
I've been using kdenlive at home and it's been quite stable and user
friendly. You might give it a look too...
