I used core for Ubuntu. No reason to use VMware when it only takes 10 minutes to install on Ubuntu server 8.04.

Damien
They changed their product placement a bit, but did you download core for
ubuntu, or core for VMware? I have been thinking of placing core on SLES 10 but
am not sure if things wilol break when I move to SLES 11 and may wait until its
certed for 11. I have also yet to use zypper though on SLES (I have tried to
stay within YAST confines on production systems because of prior dependencies
scrapes with SLES) and need to read up dependency check compatibility.

Amazon is using the Xen virtualization software. I have a real Ubuntu server running on the cloud. This is not a fake server. Its a real virtual machine that I can log into.
