I just went to the mindtouch website and downloaded the free version. Works=
 great...=20

Amazons cloud is good stuff. Its a little confusing to figure out because t=
here are different components that need to be configured before you can rel=
iably use it. Amazon is using the Xen virtualization software. I have a rea=
l Ubuntu server running on the cloud. This is not a fake server. Its a real=
virtual machine that I can log into.=20

My small server is 32 bit Ubuntu. Costs me about $50 a month. Storage is un=
limited. Or more space then I'll ever need. You can get 64 bit servers in L=
arge and Extra Large. They also have Windows servers but why run open sourc=
e software on Windows. It will cost you a lot more to run Windows.=20

If anyone wants more info on Amazons cloud let me know and I can go over it=
with you. Like I said, its a bit confusing. =20

You running the opengarden version or the mindtouch COTS version? =C2=A0
Which install did you do?

BTW, What are you paying to have your Linux server running on the =C2=A0
cloud? I have yet to look at that. I have most of my remote stuff on =C2=A0
DH and they hawk "cloud" but for static files only... =C2=A0Looking at a =
=C2=A0
way to move Moodle to something more robust than DH offers (something =C2=
=A0
is always dying over there)
