[aklug] running legacy Vmware WS

I have been trying to find a substitute for running Vmware WS 5.5.x, without
upgrading Vmware $$. The last kernel to natively support WS 5.5 was ~2.6.18 which
I have been running. During my tests of Virtualbox using a more current kernel,
Debian Lenny-2.6.26, I stumbled upon patches to WS 5.5 to run more modern kernels.
I found a patch for WS 5.5.7/kernel 2.6.26, the patch works for WS 5.5.9 also.
There are patches available up through kernel 2.6.31;
