I'll have to give Conduit a try one Friday night. I wouldn't mind writing documentation for an official project. Assuming I can figure it out and get it to work.

I've tried setting up Conduit. Didn't get to far.

I wanted to use it to sync files &/or directories on 2 networked
computers. The documentation (what little there is) says this is one of
it's purposes, but I haven't figured out how to get to talk to another
computer on the lan.

The version that is available as a package for Fedora does have the
settings built into it for syncing files to a couple of common on-line
places and a nice looking gui. Picasa, Facebook, Flickr, others, but
nothing for another computer on your lan.

The project seems to be aware that the have documentation issues and are
advertising for someone to help in this area. The few examples I've
found on the web, thus far, seem to deal with the stuff that someone at
the Fedora Project already set up as the default configuration.

No, I haven't seriously considered contributing. If I can't figure out
how to use it, I don't think I qualify to contribute documentation.
