Was that a certain brand of Asus Eee PC which had the fan problem? From
everything I've been reading so far, I'd rather have the Aspire One than
and Eee PC, but one of the chief complaints about the Aspire One is that
it is really noisy, even before it starts to overheat. This is a problem
for me because I'll want to use it in class and not draw attention to
myself. I read that the Asus Eee PC 1005HA was pretty quiet (24 dBA),
but you have me concerned about this fan problem.
