I've seriously wanted to do some sort of bulk transit system between rural
areas. It would be interesting to develop a product that accepts
encoded/encrypted payloads from terminals and offers a zippy transfer service.
At first I thought that ACS/GCI/MTA would need to allow GE speed access to a
terminal in several locations. I can't seem to figure out a way to get around
the need for individual agreements with each ISP. It makes a product like this
nearly as expensive as a 24 hour full rate DSL transfer of bulk data. Then
again the expense depends on the payload.

Anyhoot.. if anybody has any clever ideas on this - let me know. I already have
a sneakernet solution that would work well.
