I'm not an expert here, but isn't it all just part of the battle for the
server market? I would think they would do what it takes to make Hyper-V
a success, and bring in that next generation of WS2008 license fees,
even if it means submitting some driver code to the Linux kernel.

I mean, its not like they submitted wireless drivers or KDE components.
This code is only beneficial if you are trying to run Linux in a Hyper-V
environment, right?
