I have had issues with godaddy silently deleting my domains. With
4 different domains, they deleted my registration after about a week
with no correspondence.

I did manage to get my registration fees back after calling them about
5 times. Used a different registrar and have not had a problem since.

At the moment I use domainsite for name registration and
nearlyfreespeech for hosting on new domains.
