[aklug] Re: samba authentications

1. Couple of recent comments in the aklug archives say it can be done using openldap
and some scripts, but it's painful and requires ongoing oversight and tweaks.

2. General googling indicates that samba4 seems to be the Answer to this problem, but
there has been no real buzz since about 2006. The various howtos are mostly from
around 2004. It does not seem ready for prime time.
