Hello James,

This was a very interesting piece in your email,

"Or second, Microsoft may have deliberately slowed down the XP
operating system. So that when you upgrade to Vista. The performance
hit is less noticeable."

I had always noticed that when the updates were applied XP slowed down
but had never thought if it was malicious. I doubt it's true but I
wouldn't put it past the Empire.

As for RedHat, you can download Fedora, which is free and is the
desktop version of Red Hat EL, sort of. CentOS is a complete copy of
RHEL put out by a group that tracks all of RH's changes, they are
about 3 months behind a RHEL release. It is also a free download, it
is the exact same distro but with no paid support.
