[aklug] DNS help

I am having some dificulties geting bind9 to work, I installed it from
scratch removing all config files and did apt-get install bind9. I am still
getting the error message
 /etc/init.d/bind9 stop
Stopping domain name service...: bindReloading Squid configuration files.
done.
rndc: connection to remote host closed
This may indicate that the remote server is using an older version of
the command protocol, this host is not authorized to connect,
or the key is invalid.
 failed!
