Here is an article on P2V for xen for linux servers:
http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenManualPtoVProcess

Same for Windows, you will a HVM capable processor:
http://blog.geekpoet.net/2008/05/manual-p2v-migration-of-windows-server.html

And here is something cool that I never tried and just found: :)
http://et.redhat.com/~rjones/virt-p2v/

I wouldn't share your /home directory out of your Dom0 to your DomU's. =20
I would instead share a DomU's /home with the others. The Dom0 is a =20
hypervisor and should be treated as such, it's only task in life =20
should be to manage resources for the DomU's.

Also, use LV's for your "disks" for the DomU's, they are faster than =20
file based disks. So you would need 3 LV's for each DomU, 1 for / one =20
for /boot and one for swap. Now you can create LV's within a DomU but =20
I have never quite got that fingered out. But, if anything ever goes =20
wrong with that you will kparted to be able to mount them and fix them.

Jon

P.S. In case you were wondering, I have heard that Dom0 support will =20
be in the 2.6.29 kernel.....I hope.
