Should the list membership decide that the additional Mailman
functionality is worthwhile, I would suggest that whomever handles the
migration do something like this:
1. up the list server as @ 3rd level under aklug.org - I would suggest
the obvious lists.aklug.org
2. solicit and merge large mbox collections of archived list content to
import and give the archives on the new box a jump start.
3. post notice that the list is moving
4. export addresses from ecartis into mailman so folks don't have to
re-subscribe
5. forward ecartis address to appropriate mailman address, for those who
are forgetful
6. post notice that the list has moved, monitor for unexpected problems
7. Profit!!?
