[aklug] The Next Windows

Just wondering what everyones thoughts were on the new windows supposedly
coming out in late 09 early 10

I have been reading about it. How they are trying to make it as small as
possible this way, customers can upgrade their computers OS and not have to
upgrade the software.

Now they really are trying to copy Linux, and all Free software, such as
firefox. The last IE 8 update now does almost everything as Firefox, with
the exception to all the leaks, which Microsoft will probably never be able
to patch up. "Some features planned for Internet Explorer 8 include "undo
close tab (like Firefox)", and "saving and restoring sessions." Just another
way that Microsoft is trying to get people to use their software; making it
just like the good software that is free.
