FNL classes

Greetings:

For those that didn't know the second Friday of each month is the designated
day for formal presentations at FNL. Because of several off-line requests
I'm currently planning on finishing my documentation and going over kernel
builds in more depth. Unless someone has something more interesting to talk
about, of course.

To wit: if anyone would like to go over something in particular, put it out
on the list. Others might be interested as well, and that can help us plan
for classes that have the widest interest. Not to belabor the point, but
AKLUG can serve as a great educational opportunity, but you can't be shy if
you're going to get some value from it. Speak up express your interests,
and you'll find that many of us will be happy to further your interests, and
share those interests to boot.

For those of you doing some tinkering in your own time: volunteer to go
over what you're playing with! No one here knows everything, there's more
interested in what you're doing than you realize. Plus, I've found that
having to explain what I'm doing helps to organize my own thoughts and
strengthen my own understanding.

So, next week, I'll be going to FNL again, and planning on doing the kernel
thing again. We can do something else, if people would prefer. Is anyone
here interested in kerberos? Iptables? Anything? Let's get a discussion
going so we know what tickles everyone's fancy, and we'll find a way to get
a class. :-)
