I'm running three computers: XP, w98 & a SUSE box at home. They're
sitting behind a wireless router, which goes into the DSL box. I didn't
do any configuring on the DSL modem - just plugged the router in. The
router pulls an IP from ACS. Inside I set up static IPs (although I
could have used DHCP served from the WAP).

Long story short, it should work out of the box if you're behind the router.

Only thing you might want to do is set the MTU to 1492 instead of 1500;
I think that's the current size for DSL from ACS...
