LDAP Server

I was talking with a friend over the weekend and realized that there a
quite a few new people in the group that might not even know the
definition of LDAP. The official one is:

Lightwieght Directory Access Protocol

It is often used when discussing possible choices for implementing some
sort of AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting). Most
often it is used in the Authentication process.

That is how we are going to initially set things up with the LDAP
server that we are configuring.

We are also setting up a very basic phone book type application that
will keep data for people in the AKLUG organization. Of course this is
just an example, but we will try to make it as real and relavent as
possible.
