From the press release it looks like all that Fluendo is offering are codec
plugins for the gstreamer framework. If I were a betting man I'd bet that
Fluendo is just rewrapping the OSS codecs in a plugin for gstreamer, for
which there are other packages already available.

Much ado about nothing, unless I'm missing some value-add. I don't see any
mention of them being able to handle the DRM-crippled variants, for
instance.
