Just a note on the kernel used in Feisty Fawn. (2.6.20 + Ubuntu Hacks)
Most mainboards with Raid 0,1 SATA onboard controllers may not boot properly
into ubuntu without enabling the pseudo bios for on the controller and
letting the disks be detected solely as JBOD. Possible other fixes are
using 'irqpoll' as a boot parameter.

I wouldn't typically mention it, however since it effected multiple
different workstations at my office I am just going taking a stab at the
statistics that somebody here will be cursing Feisty Fawn if they don't know
whats going on before hand.
