Wew , thats a relief. I have also being playing around
with 'dpkg --get-selections, dpkg --setselections. You can make your
own 'metepackage' . Combing with a net-installs iso, a local mirror or a
package cache,installs of the same software stack become doable in about
20 minutes, on diferent hardware profiles. Apt-move provides one way to
get a local package cache for a intranet.
