Thanks to everyone for the tips. I downloaded a full new copy of 6.10, burned it at a slower speed, and re-installed without error. I have one rocking workstation now. Thanks for the encouragement.

What is trying to be installed at 34%? Did you check the media and make sure it
wasn't a bad CD?
