Well, I'm giving away my baby. I've never tried using it, but it looks
REALLY cool.
It is a Compaq 2500 Proliant
It has 5 4.3GB ultra wide SCSI drives
Onboard SCSI controller
Compaq/AMD SCSI ultra wide PCI card
-4 DIMMS
-CD ROM
-floppy drive
-2 processors (I don't know if it is redundant or dual processors)
There are a few PCI slots, but also these weird slots next to them. An
equal number of PCI and weird slots.
I think it might have dual power supplies. If not, it is just one big
power supply!
Does anyone want to give this server a non-landfill home?
It can be picked up on King St. off of Dimond.
