What have folks used to do serial to ip proxying?
This is a program, probably a daemon, that sits between an application
that expects to be talking to a /dev/ttySxx but is really talking to,
say, a lantronix terminal server over an ip network.
Examples include remserial, serproxy, and comserv. Undoubtedly others.
All of the above are venerable entries (meaning they haven't been
updated in a while, not necessarily a bad thing). But is there one or
two that everyone uses and are (presumably) better and more solid than
others?
Thanks in advance!
