Re: java text books?

i have java "j2sdk1.4.2_12" which i just installed
the book im using is "JAVA Methods-An Introduction to Object-Oriented
Programming",
.....and i just found my error.....
i typed
import java.swing.*;
not
import javax.swing.*;
thats why it didnt like the swing stuff....
the book may be from 2001 but it works
